Representatives from across the helicopter industry’s customer support and service sector are expected to turn out on Monday, Feb. 22 at Heli-Expo as Bell Helicopter honors 12 worldwide customer service facilities (CSFs) with Platinum-level rankings.
The awards ceremony will recognize leaders in the customer service arena and highlight the commitment of Bell operators around the globe to achieving the highest level of customer support in the industry.
Each year, all Bell-authorized CSFs undergo a strict audit process in which they are measured and scored on multiple factors and areas for improvement are identified. CSFs indentified as providing superior service are honored with the title of Platinum-level CSF. This process has enhanced customer service throughout Bell’s global network as service facilities around the world rise to the challenge.
WHO: Bell Helicopter CEO John L. Garrison and Chief Services Officer Danny Maldonado join Kirk Blackwelder, manager of customer service facility support, to honor the Platinumlevel CSFs.

Established in 2007, the annual Bell Achievement Ranking System serves as the annual audit process for Bell Helicopter and its global network of customer service facilities. Measured on inventory management, third-party maintenance focus, comprehensiveness of service, technical training and facility quality, CSFs greatly exceeding the minimum requirements achieve Platinum-level rating. Last year, only six CSFs reached Platinum-level. This year the number doubled, with 12 CSFs achieving Platinum. The Bell CSF network consists of more than 120 service facilities located in 32 countries.
