PWC Signs FMP(R) Agreement with Eurocopter UK for EC135 Support

Pratt & Whitney Canada’s Customer Service Centre (CSC) Europe GmbH, a joint venture between Pratt & Whitney Canada and MTU Aero Engines, has signed a Fleet Management ProgramTM (FMP(R)) agreement with Eurocopter U.K. Ltd. to provide comprehensive maintenance support for six PW206B2-powered EC135 helicopters operated by various United Kingdom (U.K.) Police Air Support Units.
“Superior lifecycle cost benefits offered by P&WC Customer Service Centre Europe, as well as the long-lasting and smooth interface in the support plan with Eurocopter U.K., led the U.K. Police Air Support Units’ decision to proceed with the long-term agreement,” said Clemens Linden, general manager of P&WC CSC Europe GmbH.
Markus Steinke, managing director, Eurocopter U.K., added “This FMP agreement will expand our “one-stop shop” full-service solutions for the U.K. Police Air Support Units allowing them to effectively carry out their vital missions using the reliable, high-performance EC135 helicopters, which have become the backbone of the U.K. and European police forces.”
