The Wichita Police Department’s Air Section has recognized Mid-Continent Instruments’ excellent customer service with the WPD Certificate of Appreciation. Lt. Paul Shields and David Fry, Director of Maintenance, presented Mid-Continent Instruments President and CEO Todd Winter with the award recently. Mid-Continent literally helped keep the Air Section’s 2003 MD500E Light Single Helicopter in the air, to provide critical support to ground operations. The City of Wichita saved thousands of dollars in the process. The WPD Certificate of Appreciation is awarded to any civilian or civilian organization that renders services to the community and citizens of the City of Wichita, in the interest of better law enforcement.

Mid-Continent provided prompt and professional service when repairing the Air Section’s Helicopter, allowing them to continue serving the public.

“High caliber customer service is an important part of what we do and how we conduct our business,” said Lt. Shields. “We can tell it’s equally important at Mid-Continent Instruments.”

“I find Mid-Continent Instruments to be an outstanding place of business,” said Frye. “Their state-of-the-art testing equipment and technicians remind me of walking into NASA Space Center. I will always recommend them to any business that is in need of avionics or instrument repair.”
