FlightSafety Promotes Mike King To Director, Business Development

FlightSafety International is pleased to announce that Mike King has been promoted to Director, Business Development.

Mike joined FlightSafety in 1990 and has held a number of positions of increasing responsibility since then. He most recently served as Manager of FlightSafety’s Learning Centers in Cincinnati, Salt Lake City, St. Louis and Memphis. Angela Gremard has replaced Mike King as Center Manager.

“We appreciate Mike’s contributions as Center Manager and look forward to his continued efforts to help expand and secure new relationships with aircraft manufacturers and assist with the establishment of new facilities and programs,” said Eric Hinson, Executive Vice President. “This new role will enable Mike to give his undivided attention to pursuing new opportunities within the corporate and commercial aviation market segments.”

Mike will work closely with FlightSafety’s Sales and Marketing organization to identify and manage growth opportunities by leading the development of Customer driven product and service offerings, the identification of optimum locations for simulators and training programs, and the expansion or establishment of training facilities.

FlightSafety provides factory authorized training services for aircraft manufactured by Bell, Bombardier, Cessna, Dassault, Embraer, Gulfstream, Hawker Beechcraft, HondaJet, Piaggio and Sikorsky.

The company has designed and manufactured over 570 simulators and other advanced training devices since 1978 that are used in the training of pilots, aircraft maintenance technicians and other aviation professionals.
