Sloane Helicopters are now taking bookings for their CAA approved Instrument Rating course. The training is offered at the Company’s HQ at Sywell, Northamptonshire, and complies with the latest requirements of the JAR FCL 2. The course consists of a maximum of 40 hours in a brand new FNPT II and a minimum of 10 hours flight training in an Agusta Power or Grand. Prior to commencing the course applicants are required to hold an Agusta A109 Type Rating, which, if required, can be provided by Sloane at a very competitive rate.

The flexibility of the FNPT II and the training capabilities developed by Sloane are also available to all pilots who are interested in refresher training, to improve particular skills or to practice specific navigational scenarios, both under Visual or Instrument Flight Rules.

Our Flight Instructors are available to assess individual training needs and to develop customised training packages.
