The Bell Training Academy, the training academy for Bell Helicopter, a Textron Inc (NYSE: TXT) company, has been added to the Government Service Administration’s (GSA) Acquisition schedule, thereby reducing the cost of training for law enforcement officers and simplifying the contracting process.

Airborne law enforcement and other government customers can access the entire Bell Training Academy course catalog on the GSA Acquisition schedule, providing them with a fast, flexible and cost-effective resource to meet all their training needs.

“At the Bell Training Academy we are committed to ensuring our customers have access to the latest advancements in both pilot and maintenance training,” said Trey Wade, director of the Bell Training Academy. “Adding the BTA’s complete course offerings to the GSA is one way we are working to offer Bell Helicopter operators with more flexible, responsive and cost-effective training solutions.”

Earlier this year, the Bell Training Academy was awarded a five (5) year contract with the GSA.  By allowing state and local agencies to take advantage of the purchasing power of the federal government, the GSA program streamlines the procurement process providing them with a reliable and proven resource for discounted “best-value” prices for services at the Bell Training Academy.

The Bell Training Academy provides comprehensive training courses on Bell products. For a complete schedule of all courses, call 1-800-368-2355, visit http://www.bellhelicopter.com/en/training, or contact BTA Administration directly at BTAAdmin@bellhelicopter.textron.com.
