Pratt & Whitney Canada expands maintenance coverage for INAER

Pratt & Whitney Canada Customer Service Centre Europe GmbH (P&WC CSC Europe), a joint venture of Pratt & Whitney Canada (P&WC) and MTU Maintenance Berlin-Brandenburg GmbH, significantly expanded a Fleet Management Program (FMP® program) contract with INAER Aviation. P&WC is a United Technologies Corp. (NYSE:UTX) company.

Under a new, 13-year event cost plan (ECP) contract, P&WC CSE Europe will increase its engine maintenance coverage to 24 PT6C-67C engines from the current six engines covered. The engines power INAER’s operated fleet of AgustaWestland AW139 helicopters.

The ECP with INAER Aviation is a tailor-made agreement that covers overhaul, hot section inspection, basic unplanned engine removals, rental support, engine condition trend monitoring, fuel nozzles plus other options.

INAER Aviation is a privately held group, which has operations in Europe, North Africa and Chile. Its growing helicopter fleet carries out a wide range of missions, including emergency medical services, civil defence, search and rescue, offshore logistics, fire-fighting and passenger transportation.
