On Oct. 14, Rotorcraft Support, Inc. (RSI) will once again sponsor its annual helicopter-specific IA Renewal Seminar. This is 11th year for this Federal Aviation Administration-sanctioned event, which is the only FAA-sanctioned symposium designed exclusively for the IA technician whose daily assignments deal with the maintenance of the light and medium helicopters. Last year 180 mechanics with IA certificates satisfied their training requirements, and this year RSI is planning for an even larger group.

As in the previous 10 years, the eight hours of required technical instruction will be satisfied by individual lecturers. In the order of their appearance at the seminar the companies who are generously providing representatives are as follows: Grey Owl Consultants; Bell Helicopter; Rolls-Royce Corporation; International Aviation Composites; SpectraLab; Pratt & Whitney Canada; AgustaWestland.

Once again the Marriott Hotel at the Bob Hope/Burbank Airport will serve as the location for the seminar. And, holding to the RSI tradition, there is no charge to the IA attendee for this event and all will be hosted to a morning continental breakfast, a deli-style lunch, and refreshments throughout and at the completion of the seminar.
