Max-Viz, Inc and Police Aviation Services (PAS) of England have received a Statement of Integration (SOI) export license from the U.S. Department of Commerce (DoC) allowing significantly quicker and more streamlined export of Max-Viz Enhanced Vision System technology abroad to civilian users through the PAS facility in Cheltenham, UK.

Bob Yerex, VP Sales for Max-Viz states “Max-Viz can now ship to support PAS EVS programs for civil customers in over 36 export exempt countries almost immediately, compared to previous delays of between 2 and 6 months for individual program export applications”. “This SOI allows Max-Viz to compete on a level playing field with comparable foreign suppliers with lead times from receipt of order to delivery responsiveness equivalent to current domestic programs”.

“We are working with most of our integration customer base to get them aligned under the same type of SOI certification to provide each of them with this same competitive advantage” states Dylan Anderson, CFO at Max-Viz.

PAS is part of the Specialist Aviation Services Group (www.specialist-aviation.com) and operates and maintains over 30 helicopters and fixed wing aircraft. “As an EASA approved design organisation active across Europe and the Eastern hemisphere, PAS is well placed to develop STCs and provide EVS kits for much of Max-Viz’s export market. We see great potential for the use of EVS as an enhancement to safety, not just within our own operations, but across a broader range of users and our design capability compliments the responsiveness provided by the grant of this export license” added Nigel Lemon, Sales Director at PAS.

Max-Viz (www.max-viz.com) designs and markets the smallest, most reliable and affordable Enhanced Vision Systems for aircraft.
