United Rotorcraft Solutions (URS) recently delivered a customized Bell 206L-4 to a Guatemalan customer.

URS originally contracted with Austin Jet but additional items were added directly with the end user in Guatemala.  Some major maintenance items were performed and the aircraft was modified with a fire blanket, high skid gear and flight steps, Dart wire strike protection system, AAI preflight kit, tail rotor pedal safety kit, window locks, locking fuel cap, Bose headsets and collective hour meter.

Some interior and exterior work was also accomplished along with an Export Certificate of Airworthiness.

The helicopter was in work for only a period of three weeks before delivery directly to the Guatemalan customer who flew the aircraft from the URS facility.
