United Rotorcraft Solutions (URS) has been awarded a contract by Veracity Aviation of New Braunfels, TX to customize a Eurocopter AS350B2.

The helicopter, having just arrived at the new URS facility, will be outfitted with a full VIP leather interior to include a quick-change rear bench from three seats with arm rests to four seats.  An Air Comm air conditioner will also be installed.

The avionics and communications equipment to be installed consists of a Dual Garmin GNS430W Comm/NAV/GPS, the Garmin GMX200 MFD, GTX330 Transponder and a GMA340 Audio control.  A Honeywell KCS55A HSI along with the Avidyne TAS 615 Traffic Warning System and WX-500 Stormscope will be integrated.  A  CD Player, AM/FM, MP3 will also be provided.

Veracity Aviation provides helicopter flight training, sight seeing tours, aerial photography and aerial survey and inspection of pipelines, power lines and any construction project.  They handle contract services at all levels; from just piloting and trip planning to managing maintenance records and certificates.
