Military Equipment Service (FMT) is responsible for sales of S-61’erne and they have just announced that all six helicopters will be sold at the beginning of 2011. The expected buyers are other countries’ defense or firms within the helicopter industry.
Military Equipment Service is starting to make a stock inventory of helicopters and create an exhibition space for them at Karup Air Base, where interested buyers can come and “kick the tires” at the end of November this year.
Helicopter Wing Karup Squadron 722 assists Military Equipment Service to hold four of the six helicopters fly talented and ensure that the parts are stored correctly and appropriately.
