Bell names team to lead innovation efforts

Bell Helicopter, a Textron Inc. (NYSE: TXT) company, is pleased to announce that it has named its 2010 Engineering Technical Fellows. This team of technical leaders is tasked with building and maintaining a 20-year technology roadmap that will introduce new products and improve existing platforms.
Chosen based on their depth of engineering design scholarship and industry-recognized expertise, the 2010 Technical Fellows play a key role in driving innovation that aligns with Bell’s strategic direction and continues the company’s tradition as a leader in aviation technology.
Bell Helicopter currently has one Senior Technical Fellow, 11 Technical Fellows and 17 Associate Technical Fellows. The 2010 Bell Helicopter Technical Fellows include Tom Wood as the first Senior Technical Fellow, flight technology and advanced design.
Bell’s new Technical Fellows are Carlos Fenny, Walt Riley, Paul Oldroyd, and Paul Madej. The four new technical fellows join current Technical Fellows; Jim Harse, Jim McCollough, Ashok Agnihotri, Vincent D’Arienzo, James Braswell, Bob Wardlaw, and Erik Oltheten.
Bell’s Associate Technical Fellows are John Brieger, Mithat Yuce, Kent Stewart, Jack Shue, Tim Ledbetter, Ron Woods, Marty Shubert, Pat Hollifield, Brad Stamps, Roger Aubert, Jon Coon, Greg Haataja, Mark Chris, Myron Jackson, Pat Tisdale, Randy Johnson, and Eric Covington.
