The International Business Aviation Council (IBAC) is a council of business aviation associations from around the world. IBAC is an International Non-Governmental Organization (INGO) with permanent observer status with the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), the UN Specialized Agency for aviation matters. IBAC, in coordination with Member Associations, produces the International Standard for Business Aircraft Operations (IS-BAO) and has agreed to produce a Helicopter Edition of the Standard.

A Steering Committee, comprised of representatives of IBAC, the HAI, the European Helicopter Association, and the British Helicopter Association, has established a Working Group to develop the Helicopter Edition of the Standard. This working Group will be led by Bob Sheffield, Chairman and Stan Rose, Vice Chair and we are looking for volunteers to aid in this project.
