Mesa, Arizona, October 5, 2010… MD Helicopters, Inc (MDHI) has announced the appointment of Gregory Gauer as Vice President of Supply Chain, reporting to Robert Molsbergen, President.

Gauer brings with him a wealth of aerospace supply chain, production, inventory and operations management experience to the position. Most recently, Gauer was Interim General Manager at APPH, a business aviation component manufacturing company. Prior to that, he held positions as Corporate Director, Global Material Management for General Electric Aviation Systems; Supply Chain Director and Lean Sigma Leader for Suntron Corporation; and Enterprise Resource Planning Project Director for ON Semiconductor. From 1994 to 2000, Greg held positions of increasing responsibility at Allied Signal/Honeywell International including Director, Inventory Management and Director, Sales, Inventory and Operations planning (SIOP).

Gauer earned a BS in Business Administration from Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Arizona and holds Certification in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) from the American Production and Inventory Control Society and is also certified in Leadership and Strategic Impact from the Tuck School for Executive Education at Dartmouth College.
