Chinese Aviation Museum adds Mi-6 helicopter

An Mi-6 helicopter was one of six new aircraft inducted to the Chinese Aviation Museum on 11th November, bringing the collection to a massive 318 airframes of 138 types. Its collection is ranked fifth in the world out of professional aviation museums in the science and technology category.

The other five aircraft inducted were an AN-26 transport plane, F-7M fighter, J-6 Supersonic fighter, Shenyang JJ-5 aircraft, and a Yak-18 aircraft.

The Chinese Aviation Museum is about 40 miles north of Beijing and located in the foot of Xiao Tang Hill in Chang Ping County.
