We reported on 19th November that CHC had won the Woodside Energy contract in Australia from long-term incumbent Bristow Helicopters.  CHC will commence flying this contract in June 2011, operating four EC225 aircraft and two AW139 aircraft based out of Karratha in the Pilbara region of Western Australia.

The two AgustaWestland AW139s have been delivered from the factory in Italy in the last week on British registrations – G-CGRG serial 31319 and G-CGRH serial 31320.  The pair are destined for completion work at CHC’s Heli-One facility at Stavangar in Norway.
