Jerry Trimble Helicopters (JTH) is proud to announce the opening of their winter flight training base in Thermal, CA (TRM).  JTH decided to move one of their R-22 Beta II’s to a warmer locale for winter flying. Jerry Trimble, owner, stated “We felt it would be fun for our customers to provide a different training environment.  So far the response has been overwhelming.  Tradition Aviation and Jackson Air have partnered with us to provide a full-service FBO which also provides fixed-wing training”.   All primary and advanced training at the Thermal location is conducted in the R-22 with a dual rate of $230/hour and a solo rate of $200/hour.  Commercial and CFI training are also offered.

The JTH main office, established in 2007, is located in McMinnville, Oregon (MMV) directly across the street from the Evergreen Aviation Museum.  JTH prides itself on offering high-quality, fast, primary and advanced flight training in the Robinson R-22 and R-44.  The prices at the McMinnville location are $214/hour dual and $184/hour solo for the R-22 HP.  Instrument instruction is offered in the R-44.  Jerry specializes in CFI instruction and also offers a touchdown auto course.  The total price for the CFI rating is $5210 and can be completed in 7 days.
