ASU makes final call for entries for Heli-Expo Night Vision Awards

Aviation Specialties Unlimited, (ASU) announced that they are accepting nominations for the Night Vision Awards to be presented at Heli-Expo in March, until February 11, 2011.  The night vision awards were created to acknowledge companies that use night vision systems and further safety by using them.
ASU will give awards for the following categories:
  • 5-year service award
  • 10-year service award
  • Community Awareness award
  • International Advancement award
  • Mark of Excellence award
“We founded ASU with a mission to further safety during night flights in our industry,” said ASU Founder and CEO Mike Atwood.  “There are people out there everyday that use night vision systems to help communities throughout the world.  We want to acknowledge them for their service to their communities and to our industry.”
Awards will be given out at Heli-Expo, ALEA, and AMTC every year for recipients in civil operations, law enforcement and emergency medical flights accordingly.  Any flight operation using any Night Vision system will be eligible for nominations.  Award nomination packets can be downloaded or filled out on ASU’s website,
