Helicopter Foundation International (HFI) will be holding its second annual scholarship fundraising golf tournament at HELI-EXPO 2011. The golf tournament is set for Friday, March 4, 2011 at the Grande Pines Golf Course in Orlando, Fla. Grande Pines is a beautiful golf course — one of 176 in the Orlando area. Opportunities are available for sponsorships at various levels. All money raised will go directly to the HFI Scholarship Fund. This is a great opportunity to help deserving students who might otherwise be unable to fulfill their dreams, to take that first step into a rewarding career in aviation.

Player sign up is underway. There will be a 12:30 p.m. shotgun start with scramble format. Put together your own foursome or sign up as an individual and we will put you in a group. The course is located on International Drive about a mile and a half south of the Orange County Convention Center.

If you are flying into Orlando on Friday morning, you can catch a taxi directly to Grande Pines. There will be a place for you to change clothes and to store luggage. HFI will provide transportation to your hotel after the golf dinner. If you would like to travel light, the course has rental clubs available (be sure to call ahead to reserve a set). There will be a box lunch waiting for you on arrival and a BBQ dinner after the tournament.
