The Karlsruhe DRF base has hosted the visit of a high profile political figure on Monday 14th February.  The Baden-Wuerttemberg Interior Minister, Heribert Rech was briefed on the duties and responsibilities of the Karlsruhe rescue helicopter. Among others, he was accompanied by another Member of Parliament, Katrin Schütz.

At helicopter’s base, Heribert Rech met board members of the St Vincentius Clinic in Karlsruhe – Egon Möhlmann, Richard Wentges and Prof. Dr. Jürgen Biscoping. Additionally, Steffen Lutz, Chief Executive of the DRF air rescue was present, plus (of course!) the full based team of the based Eurocopter EC135, which uses callsign “Christoph 43”.
