Quality Aviation Instruments (QAI) received notification recently that they were awarded a five-year contract by the United States Coast Guard to repair new and older generation hover lights.

“We are thrilled to be awarded this contract,” said President of QAI Robert Sieber.

“For 14 years we have been providing quality support to both the rotorcraft and air transport industries.  It is a great honor for our company to support the aircraft that are so important to our nation’s security.  Everyday the Coast Guard protects our nation.  In some small part this contract allows us to also contribute to that daily mission.”

The company was awarded the contract at the end of 2010. Initial stages of the work have already begun.  QAI will repair new infrared and older generation hover lights.

QAI is a FAA part 145-repair station and is EASA certified. QAI service centers offer service in instrumentation, avionics, and accessories.
