HeliHub.com has heard qualifed reports that Sloane Helicopters have had their contract to support the Royal Air Force 32 Squadron A109 Powers extended for a further year to 31st March 2012. Â While the contract is officially held by AgustaWestland, the Anglo-Italian manufacturer subcontracts the technical support and training services to UK/Eire distributor Sloane Helicopters.
The contract covers four AW109E Powers, serial ZR321 through ZR323, all based at RAF Northolt, primarily for government VIP flights.
