UK: Yorkshire Air Ambulance deny maintenance move to Multiflight

Following suggestions in an online forum, HeliHub.com checked with Yorkshire Air Ambulance on the current situation regarding the maintenance contract for their two MD Explorers, registered G-CEMS and G-SASH.  The suggestion has been floated that YAA are to move from their current provider Medical Aviation Services (part of the Specialist Aviation Group) to Multiflight, based in the same county of Yorkshire.

Abby McClymont from YAA has advised us that “YAA’s contract with our current service provider is due for renewal in Autumn 2011. The Charity are currently exploring options for a new contract”, and thus by implication a final decision has not yet been made.  Further information will be available when the new contract has been agreed and signed.
