Huntsville, AL – Vector Aerospace Corporation (Vector- www.vectoraerospace.com), one of the world’s leading independent providers of aviation maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services will exhibit at the Army Aviation Association of America (AAAA) Annual Professional Forum and Exposition April 17 – 20 in Nashville, Tennessee – (Booth # 1040).

“We are excited to once again be participating at the AAAA Forum and Exposition,” says John MacDougall, Vector’s senior vice-president of sales and marketing. “Our experienced and knowledgeable team of helicopter sales and customer support professionals will be available throughout the forum and exposition to discuss customer requirements as they relate to Vector’s capability to develop and support value-driven helicopter repair and overhaul solutions that extend aircraft life, improve reliability and reduce operator cost.”

MacDougall elaborates, explaining that Vector has a wealth of experience in providing services for military oriented products such as the General Electric T700 engine, the Rolls Royce M250 engine and the Pratt and Whitney Canada PT6A engine; and additional experience with airframe support and full service avionics including the glass cockpit system. He also references Vector’s recently launched UH-1 Upgrade Program; developed as a scalable solution that offers operators a variety of upgrade options that provides numerous combinations of enhancements and can essentially restore a UH-1 to new, or better than new condition.

Over the past year, Vector has made significant investments throughout its network; highlighted by a new business office in Huntsville, Alabama; expansion of its service and product portfolio through the addition of Original Equipment Manufacturer-approved repair, overhaul and test capability for the Arriel 2 engine, and in receiving Federal Aviation Administration approval for Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) development and integration for glass cockpits for the Bell 205, Eurocopter AS355 and Sikorsky S61 helicopters.

As well, Vector focused on creating efficiencies to further enhance productivity, performance and decreasing turn-times with the introduction of Lean Manufacturing and Pulse Line integration throughout its repair and overhaul facilities; including its Andalusia, Alabama operation where Vector supports a variety of operators, including the U.S. Navy TH-57 and Army TH-67 fleets.

Vector’s comprehensive service portfolio includes:
– Engines: (Pratt & Whitney PT6T, Rolls Royce M250, Arriel 1 and Arriel 2, General Electric T58 / CT58 and CT-7A / T700) * all engine lines include complete test capability
– Dynamic components
– Airframes and major inspections (Sikorsky, Bell and Eurocopter AS350 and AS355 models)
