EADS North America today announced that it has contributed $10,000 to the Army Aviation Association of Americaâ€™s (AAAA) educational scholarship fund.
The latest contribution brings the companyâ€™s contribution total to $85,000 for the EADS North America Distinguished Scholar Endowment. In addition, it recognizes EADS North America as a major corporate donor to the scholarship program.
In presenting the donation, Dave Oliver, Chief Operating Officer of EADS North America said, â€œWe are pleased to once again show our support for the Army Aviation Association of Americaâ€™s scholarship program. Creating educational opportunities for AAAA members and their immediate family members is of great importance to our company.â€
The endowment supports noteworthy candidates, both undergraduate and graduate students, chosen by the AAAA Scholarship Foundation, Inc.â€™s selection board. Founded in 1963, the AAAA Scholarship Foundation, Inc. awards more than $250,000 to over 150 students each year.
