On Thursday 28th, Pawan Hans issued an amendment to the documents issued in February, putting the closing date of the tender back by three weeks to 18th May. The tender reference is PHHL/CO/MKT/4817/51 and
State owned Indian helicopter operator Pawan Hans has issued a tender document seeking two 2-3 seat helicopters, primarily for training use. The specification requires the helicopters offered to be in current production and to meet the requirements laid down in JAR Part 27, FAR Part 27, in section ‘G’ of British Civil Aviation Airworthiness Requirements for rotor craft operation, or any certification acceptable to the local DGCA authority in India.
This is part of a new training academy Pawan Hans is expecting to set up at Pune.
