
Universal Avionics is pleased to announce the appointment of Greg Potter as Western Region Marketing Manager. Mr. Potter will be responsible for the overall growth and development of Universal Avionics product sales in the Western U.S. region, which includes California, Oregon, Washington, Idaho and Alaska. Mr. Carroll will be based in the Los Angeles vicinity.
“Greg brings a comprehensive range of avionics knowledge and sales experience to this position,†says Robert Clare, Director North American Marketing. “Greg’s exceptional qualifications coupled with his proximity to our customers and dealers will be advantageous to Universal’s growth in the region. We are excited that he has joined our sales team.â€
Greg comes to Universal with over 28 years of experience in the aviation industry. He started his aviation career in the U.S. Army and then transitioned to a civilian career where he worked in various sales roles at Hughes Helicopters, Goodyear Aerospace and Rockwell Collins. Greg holds a BA in Business Administration, Marketing from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. He is currently the president of the Southern California Chapter of Professional Aviation Maintenance Association (PAMA).
