AeroExpo UK produced an extremely healthy turnout despite the rain showers that were experienced on Friday and Saturday, which grounded around 50% of pre-registered visiting aircraft. In total approximately 8,000 visitors and 420 aircraft visited AeroExpo UK at Sywell Aerodromeduring 17-19 June.

An extended static display featuring aircraft from most of the leading manufacturers produced great interest amongst visitors, which subsequently lead to aircraft sales during the weekend.

Many exhibitors and visitors alike enjoyed the Art Deco design of the facilities at Sywell Aerodrome that included the Aviator Hotel, and which together added a certain magic to the event.

Both exhibitors and visitors were happy both with the location and the general ambiance of the facilities.

This year’s new location enabled new features to be integrated into the show lineup. The first ever Evening Air show at an AeroExpo UK event provided visitors with some spectacular displays. The organisers express their thanks to all the airshow acts, and in particular the RAF Chinook Display Team who were this year’s exclusive addition.
