FlightSafety appoints Director of Marketing for simulation products and services

FlightSafety International is pleased to announce that Damon Cram has joined the company as Director of Marketing for Simulation products and services.

“We are delighted that Damon has joined FlightSafety,” said Rick Armstrong, Vice President, Simulation. “His extensive experience in business development, training center operations and simulation equipment sales will help us to further expand our presence in the growing commercial, government and military markets for FlightSafety’s industry-leading simulation products and services.”

Damon joins FlightSafety following 11 years with CAE. He most recently served as Business Development and Sales Lead for Commercial Aircraft Training. Damon held a number of other sales and management positions with the company including General Manager, Embraer CAE Training Services and Director, Service Sales for CAE Services Solutions.

“I am pleased to join this world-class organization and look forward to working with the team responsible for sales and marketing of FlightSafety’s high quality flight simulators, advanced training devices, visual systems and displays,” said Damon Cram.

Damon graduated from the Spartan School of Aeronautics in Tulsa Oklahoma, and also studied at the University of Nevada in Reno. He holds a commercial pilot license and instrument rating.

FlightSafety has designed and built over 700 visual systems and close to 800 simulators and other advanced training devices since 1978. This includes the development of simulators for approximately 60 different aircraft types in the past five years alone. The simulators and visual systems are part of an integrated training system used throughout the company’s network of Learning Centers and by many other leading commercial, government and military organizations worldwide.
