The team at HeliHub.com provide a record of as many helicopter accidents and incidents as we can.  Inevitably this includes what we believe to be the full list of fatal helicopter accidents, and we are presenting here the summary for August 2011.  We indicate the number of fatalities in the summary line with the number in parentheses at the end, ie (2F) would refer to 2 Fatalities.  Summary for the month is 19 fatal accidents and 93 fatalities.  These can be split down into Military with 8 fatal accidents, 54 fatalities and Civil with 11 fatal accidents, 39 fatalities.
