From Where: From Brown Airport, San Diego- to Savannah Hilton Head,
GA, and back. Departure Time will be 6 o’clock AM.

What is the current record and who has it: 56 hours and 24 minutes, fueling and rest stops included! The World Record Helicopter Team has the old World Record, set last year!

How does it work: The clock starts at departure and stops as we land.

Who are the pilots: Jerry Peck- Travis Reid- Mig Krishnan & Chief Pilot Johan Nurmi.

What helicopter will be used: Robinson R44 Raven II.

Course of flight: California-Arizona-New Mexico- Texas- Louisiana-Mississippi- Alabama & Georgia and back. Approx 3676 nautical miles. The flight we do is approximately one fifth of the distance around the world.

Previous Records: 6 US Coast to Coast and Return Records, & 4 Coast to Coast and Return World Records. We have Raced since 2003. Undefeated!

What is the purpose for the race: To fly the R44 faster than previous year. To improve our Team-work. To increase and educate peoples understanding of helicopters and how they can save lives, and raise money for Charity
