Talon Air, a leading private jet owner and operator announced today that Richard O’Hanlon has joined the organization as Chief Operating Officer. As COO, Mr. O’Hanlon is responsible for the oversight and efficiency of the Company’s operations and ensuring the best use of the Company’s resources. He is also tasked with overseeing Talon’s aircraft management and jet charter clientele. Mr. O’Hanlon will work closely with each department manager to ensure that strategic and organizational requirements are met. He will be responsible for three segments of the Company, includingjet charter, operations and Talon Air’s Part 145 Repair Station.

Mr. O’Hanlon is a retired US Navy Rear Admiral and the recipient of the Distinguished Service Medal, Defense Superior Service Medal, five Legions of Merit and two Bronze Star Medals, among other numerous commendations and awards. He was a test pilot and carrier-based fighter pilot accumulating over 4000 hours in high performance aircraft. He also commanded two ships including the nuclear powered aircraft carrier, USS Theodore Roosevelt. His last Navy assignment was Commander, Naval Air Force Atlantic, where he was responsible for all aspects of Naval Aviation in the U.S. Atlantic Fleet. He is a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy and the U. S. Naval Test Pilot School.
