A broad spectrum of Elbit Systems innovative solutions designed for the changing requirements of the defense industry will be on display at the upcoming Korea Aerospace & Defense Exhibition 2011, Israeli Pavilion, booth C-14. The exhibition, which will take place at the Seoul Airport from October 18-23, will showcase an array of next generation avionic systems, advanced electronic warfare, electro-optics and unmanned systems demonstrating Elbit Systems’ leadership in its core business areas.
Avionic Products and Systems
The following will be displayed in the Company’s booth, demonstratingElbit Systems’ comprehensive airborne systems capabilities that  can provide both a single sensor and an entire cockpit avionic suite.
Elbit Systems CockpitNGTM is based on a smart central large area display (LAD) which includes all avionic components in one suite. The display is fully integrated with the Helmet Mounted and Head-Up Displays. All of the systems’ components were developed in a Multi-touch-Screen” technology in order to allow the pilot to operate the aircraft in the most smooth and customizable manner.  This new modular solution enhances mission excellence and reduced aircrew workload and can be tailored to multiple platforms offering full multi-mission support for attack, emergency services, training and air support.
22″ Advanced Panoramic Display
Elbit Systems’ 22″ Advanced Panoramic Display ‘ (PC inside), with HD resolution, is a new generation avionics display system designed to replace all flight instruments and screens, creating a full glass cockpit. The display combines sensor fusion with a decision support system, in order to present all relevant information in a format that facilitates the pilot’s missions.
Korean Naval Helicopter (KNH) Model
The naval version of the SURIONTM, manufactured by KAI is a Superior multi-roll (ASW / ASuW) helicopter with the world’s latest generation sensors and naval equipment, integrated by Elbit Systems’ cutting edge mission and weapon management avionics.
Targoâ„¢ Helmet Mounted Avionics (HMA) enables pilots to plan, rehearse, fly and debrief using their personal helmets. It is available in stand-alone or fully integrated configurations. Targoâ„¢ is an excellent solution for fighter aircraft, air lifters, trainers, emergency services aircraft and helicopters.
Electro-Optic Systems:
Elbit Systems Electro-Optics Elop Ltd. (Elop), a globally recognized multidisciplinary electro-optics systems house, incorporates the full range of related technologies and facilities in the areas of Observation and Surveillance Payloads, Space and Airborne IMINT, Lasers, Thermal Imaging, Electro-Optic Countermeasures, Head-Up Displays, Integrated Sights for Ground Forces and Homeland Security. The following will be highlighted in the show:
C-MUSICâ„¢ will be presented in a 1:1 scale model – a unique multi-spectral Infrared Fiber-laser based DIRCM System will be showcased in an impressive 2.7m long pod hung from the booth’s ceiling, demonstrating its outstanding aerodynamic structure. The pod will be outfitted with see-through windows to enable visitors to examine the advanced Fiber Laser based DIRCM mirror turret, as well as the PAWS (IR Passive Approach Warning System) sensors.
DCoMPASSâ„¢ combines the most advanced digital electronics and networking technologies, offering exceptionally high resolution digital imagery, precise target location using on gimbal IMU, advanced tracking & image processing algorithms, all packed in the lightest single LRU, stabilized payload in its class.
Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS):
Elbit Systems is a leading provider of high performance turnkey UAS solutions, including advanced air vehicles, ground control stations and intelligence management centers. The company’s UAS have earned international recognition in the global war on terrorism and are the backbone of the Israel Defense Forces and other world leading armed forces.
The Hermes® 900 UAS will be presented for the first time in the Korean Airshow in real size in the outdoor area:
Hermes® 900 is the newest generation multi-role multi-payload long range MALE UAS that offers enhanced endurance, flight altitude of more than 30,000 ft, large payload capacity and flight capabilities in adverse weather conditions. The Hermes® 900wasrecently acquired by the Israeli Defense Force as well as a Latin American country.

Skylark® I-LE (Long Endurance) is a derivative of the legacy Skylark® I UAS, already operational with several armed forces worldwide. In addition to major improvements implemented, Skylark® I-LE has been upgraded to offer longer endurance of up to three hours and enhanced robustness.
Hermes® 90 features high survivability and is a long endurance UAS with 18 hours mission range of up to 100 kilometers. Hermes® 90 provides various payloads integration capability and dual launch and recovery methods including integral launcher for point launch and recovery on non-prepared surfaces without using any dedicated ground equipment, as well as strip operation.
Land and C4I Systems: Elbit Systems Land & C4I, backed by four decades of across-the-board battle-proven expertise and experience, will showcase the following:
Tadiran SDR-7200HH (Hand-Held) is a uniquely designed, lightweight system that offers simultaneous reliable voice & video or voice & data over a single narrowband tactical channel.
Tadiran PNR-1000A is an advanced Personal Network Radio for Infantry and Special Forces for continuous communications in urban warfare, especially designed for the micro-tactical levels.
SDR-7200 – Software Defined Radio enables the reception and transmission of live video feeds via simultaneous voice and data operation, on a single network of only 25Khz bandwidth at VHF frequency band with data transfer rates of up to 115.2 Kbps. .
Military IP Radio (MIPR) man-packed/mounted tactical IP radio  ) – is a lightweight (4kg) manpacked/mounted tactical IP radio that delivers ultra-high bandwidth (up to 13.3 Mbps) real-time high-resolution video, images, voice and data.
Tadiran CNR-9000HDR multi-adaptive, VHF/FM radio systems for tactical voice and high-speed data communication
Tadiran THF-8000 is a multi-adaptive HF radio systems for continuous long-range communications  and comprised of a manpack configuration (PRC), vehicular configuration (VRC) and high power systems.
VIC-500 Digital Intercom is a digital wireless intercom system for tanks and other military vehicles that links the on-board crew members among themselves as well as with the external world.
Elisra EW and SIGINT:
Elisra, a world leader for over four decades in the field of Electronic and Information Warfare as well as Intelligence and C3 systems has been the source of solutions deployed in modern defense forces of over 40 countries worldwide.
Protection:
Spectrolite (SPS-65V-5) – is a unified, all-in-one, cost effective EW suite for helicopters, fighters, VIP and transport aircraft that provides full protection against all types of threats via advanced EW capabilities packed into a single LRU.
PAWS (IR Passive Approach Warning System) – is an operationally proven IR-based missile warning system (MWS), offering a highly effective deployed staring IR missile approach warning systems for attack and support helicopters, fighter planes, transport aircraft and more.
UAS Solutions:
Immune Satellite Navigation System – iSNS/V1 is a highly effective and agile GPS ECM system that provides effective jamming immunity for multiple satellite channels over extended ranges.
The MRS-2000 (Man-pack Receiving System) is a fully integrated, all-digital, ruggedized transceiver receiving, displaying and disseminating in real-time UAS-derived video images and telemetry data.
SL-Rambo is a wrist-wearable personal digital video receiving system that downloads real-time live video imagery from a variety of aerial, surface and ground sources, providing a common operational picture.
Intelligence:
