From Feb. 7 through 17, 2012, HAI will be offering education courses as part of HELI-EXPO 2012 at the Dallas Convention Center. There will be a Texas-sized program, with more than 25 courses offered in areas including safety, maintenance, management, and other helicopter-oriented concentrations.

Program highlights include the Military to Civilian Workshop, a free course on making the transition from a military to civilian helicopter career; and the Heli-Success Career Development Seminar, an inexpensive course targeted toward young pilots trying to break into an aviation career and for more-experienced pilots in a transition phase of their career.

The education program will also include nine new courses, ranging from Aviation Security to U.S. Tax Issues Affecting Commercial Helicopter Operators, and a competitively priced Flight Instructor Refresher Course. Those looking to fulfill hours toward IA Renewal will also benefit from HAI’s education program—four courses are being offered that are FAA-accepted for IA Renewal. Additionally, 30 manufacturer’s technical briefings will be conducted on Sun., Feb. 12 and Mon., Feb. 13, 2012 by the predominant helicopter manufacturers.
