Patent issued to Sikorsky for “Control Surface Failure Detection for FBW Aircraft”

United States Patent no. 8,032,269, issued on Oct. 4, was assigned to Sikorsky Aircraft Corp. (Stratford, Conn.). “Control Surface Failure Detection for Fly-By-Wire Aircraft” was invented by Igor Cherepinsky (Sandy Hook, Conn.), Joseph T. Driscoll (Cheshire, Conn.), William Douglas Kinkead (Wallingford, Conn.) and Leonard M. Wengler Jr. (Terryville, Conn.).
