HAI Financing & Leasing Committee launches Best Practices Workshop

The HAI Finance & Leasing Committee is pleased to present its first full-day interactive workshop, “Best Practices When Acquiring & Operating Helicopters,” for HELI-EXPO® attendees on Sat, Feb. 11, 2012 at the Dallas Convention Center, Dallas, Texas from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

This full-day, interactive workshop is designed to provide helicopter professionals, managers and executives with a better understanding of how to:

  • Assess their company’s financial performance
  • Understand how proposed accounting changes will impact business
  • Understand their financial institution’s perspective
  • Navigate the intricacies of the helicopter purchase process
  • Understand the tax complexities of running/operating an aviation company

Divided into three interrelated modules, the early morning session will focus on financial statements and their analysis; the mid-morning and early afternoon sessions will delve into the helicopter purchase process intricacies; and, the mid-afternoon session will feature discussions on the various tax issues that may affect an aviation business. The entire day will be held in an interactive workshop environment involving panel discussions, case studies, break-out sessions and role playing.
