3 died when their JetRanger crashed en route from Jacksonville to Gainesville to retrieve a heart meant for a patient at the Mayo Clinic, police and hospital officials said. The crash killed cardiac surgeon Luis Bonilla, procurement technician David Hines and pilot Hoke Smith shortly before 6 a.m. in a dense pine forest southwest of Green Cove Springs.
