The Palm Beach County Health Care District will begin discussions Tuesday on whether and when to replace its air ambulance fleet, which is almost 13 years old. The district paid $6.7 million each for its two Sikorsky S76-C+ trauma helicopters, delivered in 1999. Each one has transported about 4,700 patients during its life and flown more than 2,600 hours.  (Full story)
