David McRobert is no longer the Managing Director of Premair Aviation Group Ltd, or of related companies Premiair Aviation Services Ltd or The London Heliport Ltd.  The official notificiations were filed with regulator Companies House in the last 4-5 weeks, and Christopher Forrest of Premair has today confirmed McRobert’s departure to HeliHub.com.   No reason was given for the move, and Forrest declined to comment further on the matter.

On contacting David McRobert, he was keen to point out that he had resigned of his own choice in October 2011, and that he was not asked to leave.  After almost nine years at Premiair, McRobert is currently subject to a non-communication clause which lasts until his garden leave is complete in mid March 2012.  He was not in a position to provide us any further information.

Given it was his choice to leave, a decision a Managing Director would not take lightly in a recession in a luxury industry, we can only surmise that he has something new round the corner already in place.
