Trinity Helicopters adds three to corporate management team

Trinity Helicopters is proud to announce the hiring of three new members of their corporate management team: Patrick Doyle, Blaine Ellis and Paul Grech. The hires are a part of the company’s long term strategic growth initiative to provide helicopter services throughout the North.

Mr. Doyle will assist Trinity in all corporate and business development as the Vice President of Business Development. Mr. Ellis will be Senior Finance Manager and Mr. Grech will be the company’s Director of Marketing.

“We’ve added three dedicated professionals that will allow Trinity Helicopters to provide even more value for our customers throughout the North,” says Rob Carroll, President and co-founder of Trinity Helicopters. “They are all proven professionals in their fields. Even more importantly, they all have successful track records working in the North.”

Patrick Doyle will represent Trinity in corporate and business development as it continues to expand its operations across the three territories. Mr. Doyle brings over a decade of northern business and management experience to his business development role, and will represent Trinity on all corporate and partnership matters. He has run successful companies in both Nunavut and the Northwest Territories and has focused on developing new business opportunities and has built several successful joint venture businesses with Aboriginal and Inuit organizations. Mr. Doyle has developed, structured and managed many profitable construct and has provided strategic planning as an independent contractor.

As Senior Finance Manager, Mr. Ellis will manage the internal finance department. He will work on acquisitions, aircraft purchases, corporate and government financial reporting and expansions. He will also liaise with the financial institutions, lenders and corporate offices Trinity works. He comes to Trinity Helicopters from Nunavut Tunngavik Inc. (NTI), where he had worked as Finance Director since 2010.

Paul Grech will be Trinity’s new Director of Marketing, tasked with building the company’s current relationships, establishing contact with new clients, strengthening local business opportunities and standardizing communication with clients. Mr. Grech will also represent the company at industry trade shows and events. He has lived and worked in the North for the past five years, most recently as the Regional Supervisor of Operations out of Inuvik for the GNWT’s Department of the Executive. He also has past experience in the helicopter industry, having assisted with northern operations and as a commercial pilot for Canadian Helicopters.

According to Mr. Carroll, these hires represent the latest step in Trinity Helicopters’ long-term strategic growth plan.

“Our goal has been steadfast to provide helicopter services across all three territories. The first phase of growth was building the fleet, followed by developing our facilities and crew. Now, we’re focused on broadening our management structure to support the growth of the company in all areas from administration to safety to operations.”

Trinity Helicopters is a Det’on Cho company. It was established in 2009 by Det’on Cho Corporation and three long-time northerners: Rob Carroll, Kevin Lang and Geoff Furniss. Combined, the team has an average of 25 years experience in the helicopter industry in the North.
