Aviation Specialties Unlimited, (ASU) announced that they have now surpassed 600 aircraft STC installations in the United States.  This gives ASU more domestic installations than any NVIS Modifier in the country.

“This is a major milestone for ASU,” said ASU’s Quality Assurance Manager Kip McDermott.  “We have worked diligently over the last 10 years to provide the highest quality installations using the best equipment and lighting products on the market.  We would like to thank all of our customers that have given us the opportunity to serve them.”

ASU’s first installation was on an EC-135 for St. Vincent Hospital in Billings, Montana, now operated by Metro Aviation.  The 600th installation was on an A119 for Tristate Careflight located in Bullhead City, Arizona.

“ASU did a great job on the installation,” said Northern Regional Maintenance Manager Chris Kimberly.   “ASU has completed installations on 16 of our aircraft now and will be working on our A109 later this month.”
