Vector Aerospace Helicopter Services-North America (Vector) www.vectoraerospace.com, (Heli-Expo Booth #7139) a subsidiary of Vector Aerospace  Corporation and one of the world’s leading providers of helicopter maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services announces the consolidation and expansion of its Langley, British Columbia, Canada structures and avionics facilities; which is scheduled to open for business in December, 2012.

“The relocation of our current facilities into a new 104,000 square-foot building at the Langley, British Columbia airport will offer exceptional benefits to our current and future customers,’’ says Elvis Moniz, vice-president of operations at Vector-Langley. “We have had a great deal of success in delivering our airframe and avionics services to our international customer base of commercial and defence operators for almost 20 years. Now, relocating our operations to a much larger; consolidated facility will enable us  to leverage operational synergies related to our airframe, avionics, engineering and customer support services; as well as adding an on-site, state-of-the-art paint booth capable of handling aircraft such  as the Sikorsky S-61 and AS332 Super Puma.”

Moniz continues, explaining the new facility will also include three helipads to accommodate customer “fly-in” requirements and allow for an expanded workforce of 200; thereby addressing future growth expectations.

Vector-Langley has provided its highly specialized airframe and avionics services up to and including engineering, Supplemental Type Certificate development and glass cockpit system development and integrations to an international customer base consisting of both defense and commercial operators  for more than 20 years.
