Congratulations to Captain Geoff Day who cracked open the bubbly on reaching his 10,000th hour in the R22 today!

10,000 hours is an incredible number of flight hours to achieve, but we’re not talking total time, his grand total is now around 23,000 hours on helicopters!

The flight took place this afternoon – an instructional flight with Keith Gordon from Scotland, who is training to be a helicopter flight instructor with Helicentre at Leicester Airport.
