French operator SAF have bought an early Eurocopter Ec135T1 from the German EMS operator ADAC.  The particular example is serial number 0042, previously registered D-HEUR in Germany and now in France as F-GMTU

As they are replaced in Germany by new EC135s, ADAC is selling off all its T1 and P1 models.  British operator WPD Helicopter Unit, who specialise in electricity powerline patrols bought two EC135P1s – see ADAC sells two EC135P1s to UK operator.  ADAC’s maintenance and sales arm, ADAC Luftfahrt Technik is seeking to dispose of another four EC135P1 helicopters at this time.
