Two press releases in a short space of time:-

Hensel Phelps Construction Co. was awarded a $10.8 Million Design-Build contract with the US Army Corps of Engineers for the 13th Command Battalion – Air Traffic Control Tower / Airfield Operations Building, at Fort Carson Colorado.

To address the military’s current energy security and sustainability needs, the buildings will be constructed using NetZero energy strategies. The Air Traffic Control Tower / Airfield Operations Building will also be constructed to meet LEED® Silver Certification through the U.S. Green Building Council. Hensel Phelps as an industry leader in aviation construction projects is teamed with Jacobs as their design partner.

Hensel Phelps Construction Co. was awarded a $44.8 Million Design-Build contract with the US Army Corps of Engineers for the 13th Command Battalion – 14-Bay Aviation Support Maintenance Hangar, at Fort Carson Colorado.

To address the military’s current energy security and sustainability needs, the buildings will be constructed using NetZero energy strategies. The Aviation Support Maintenance Hangar will also be constructed to meet LEED® Silver Certification through the U.S. Green Building Council. Hensel Phelps as an industry leader in aviation construction projects is teamed with Jacobs as their design partner.
