CFDT union questions Eurocopter policy on China

CFDT union questions Eurocopter policy on China

6-Sep-2012 Source: CFDT

The CFDT union, representing many Eurocopter France staff, has sent the following letter to Chief Executive Lutz Berling [electronic translation follows]

As staff representatives Eurocopter, we learned from the press August 30, 2012, the signing of an MOU with “the Tianjin Free Trade Zone” (TFTZ) for the creation of an industrial and Squirrels customization.

This location is a priori not related to the signing of a sales contract unlike Brazil or Mexico. This is why, for the CFDT , we ask to have a global vision on Eurocopter’s strategy vis-à-vis China, including:
-       The objectives of this implementation in terms of sales, production, counter-parties, etc..
-       Eurocopter’s strategy vis-à-vis the Z11 (copy of the Ecureuil)
-       The number of EC120 sold in China
-       A vision of the Chinese EC175

Thanking you in advance and in the meantime, please accept, Mr. Director, to express our best wishes.

Didier Hacquart,
Eurocopter EC member
Coordinator CFDT EADS
