RSG AeroDesign was recently awarded a contract for the FAA STC certification of the Revue Thommen AD32 Air Data Display system for the AgustaWestland model A109 helicopters. The AD32 system measures barometric altitude, airspeed and temperature in the atmosphere using integrated solid-state pressure sensors and an external temperature sensor. The Air Data Display system exceeds FAA Technical Standard Order (TSO) accuracy requirements and provides an itergrated altitude alert function. Computed air data parameters are transmittes via dual, configurable ARINC 429 data buses.
