Eurocopter Kazakhstan Engineering, the Kazak company licenced to produce Eurocopter helicopters, is to enter the market in Mongolia.

During a visit to Ulan Bator, co-organized with the National Agency for Export and Investment, commercial director Karybay Ablezov signed a memorandum with the Mongolians. The company will be performing maintenance EC145 helicopter in Mongolia, to provide advice and technical support, as well as flight and train technical staff.

At the launch of Eurocopter Kazakhstan Engineering, it was announced that their agreement provides the ability to deliver their products to the neighbouring countries of Mongolia, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Belarus and Azerbaijan. It also gives us the exclusive right to provide services in these markets, thereby developing themselves to additional export route.

The export of services is just beginning to develop in Kazakhstan – previously it was a cultural and historical limit that they did not offer services outside their national boundaries.
