Russian Helicopters will showcase a range of helicopters designed for the military and security services at Interpolitex-2012, which takes place on 23-26 October at the All-Russian Exhibition Centre in Moscow. The Russian Helicopters display can be found at stand 2B5 in pavilion 75.

The company will bring a strong line-up to the exhibition, including the Ka-226/Ka-226T. Modular design gives this model the flexibility to carry out missions ranging from border patrol and transportation to supporting airborne troops and search-and-rescue.

The light multirole Ansat is another advanced model that has attracted commercial interest for use in special police missions.

Russian Helicopters will also showcase the Mi-171A2, the latest addition to the Mi-8/17 family, which has played a key role in national security in Russia and other CIS countries for many years, flying fire-fighting, medical, emergency and many other missions. The Mi-171A2 has been completely redesigned with a new fuselage and avionics, more powerful engines and extensive use of composite materials. It is expected to enter mass production in 2014.

Visitors to Interpolitex-2012 will also get a glimpse into the future of Russian Helicopters, including a preview of models currently under development and slated to enter production in the near future, such as the medium multirole Ka-62 and the new transport and passenger Mi-38.

Russian Helicopters is the main supplier of helicopters to Russia’s Air Force, Emergencies Ministry, special forces and law-enforcement agencies.
Interpolitex is an annual event held in Moscow since 1992 to showcase equipment for armed forces and security services.
